This license obtains all environments where parallel simulation can be enabled and ADE-XL support in Cadence Virtuoso. As for GoldenGate 2012's X-parameter extraction key function, X-parameter is a superset of S-parameter, which can be used to analyze the amplitude and relative phase of harmonics generated by nonlinear components at large input power levels. The new X-parameter function allows designers to capture the nonlinear behavior of active components such as amplifiers and store this data for rapid access to simulation models of RF system or circuit designs, while also hiding all intellectual property components. GoldenGate 2012 improves RFIC simulation functions, and provides advanced analysis and millimeter wave design support, as well as verification of compliance with wireless standards. These and other enhancements are designed to further improve the performance and usability of the software. Another enhancement in design for manufacturability is the integration of GoldenGate 2012 into MunEDA's WiCkeD tool suite to perform circuit analysis, sizing, and model building. This integration automatically compensates for process variations and parasitic effects, and helps reduce the total power consumption and noise of RF circuits. Through GoldenGate 2012, RFIC designers will be able to develop cutting-edge RF products with more confidence at advanced process nodes. On the other hand, the cooperation between wafer manufacturers and EDA is also important to ensure that the results of accurate silicon processes (Silicon-Accurate) are achieved at advanced RF process nodes.
