Summary:

The flyback power supply design uses the TNY279PN (U1) in an 8-pin DIP package, making it ideal for adapter applications. The four source pins are distributed on the same side and can be operated in a sealed adapter with an external ambient temperature of 40 °C by embedding a small metal heat sink.

  • Low power frequency leakage current <10 μA
