In July, Taiwanese LCD TV maker Amtran Technology announced that its revenues reached NT$5.14 billion (US$161.49 million), down 3.7% from the previous month, but up 28% year-on-year.

From January to July 2010, the company's revenue totaled 32.84 billion Taiwan dollars, down 8% year-on-year.

Ruixuan Technology said that in July, the company's LCD TV shipments have reached 320,000 units, of which 32-42 inch LCD TV shipments accounted for 80%. Ruixuan Technology also said that from January to July, the company's LCD TV shipments have reached 1.97 million units, and for the first three quarters of 2010, it is expected that its LCD TV shipments will reach 2.7 million units.

In terms of the high inventory level of LCD TV products in the terminal market, Ruixuan pointed out that limiting the price of panel can reduce the price war of TV manufacturers. Ruixuan Technology also said that when panel prices began to decline, market demand is expected to pick up in the fourth quarter.
