That is, the LED light and the driving chip are not on the same PCB. The actual situation is that the PCB board for soldering the LED lamp and the PCB board for soldering the driver chip are connected by the array. Taking into account the point spacing, size, heat and other factors, the P12 module basically uses the method of lamp drive separation. From a maintenance point of view, the module separated by the lamp drive is easier to repair.
Second, the light drive unity
That is, the LED lamp and the driving chip are soldered on the same PCB. Therefore, one of the advantages is that the use of the PCB can be greatly reduced. The shortcomings are also very obvious. The heat problem caused by the combination of the lamp drive has not been solved well yet, and the maintenance is not convenient. Modules above P16 are usually used in this way, but the current application is not ideal. Therefore, the current combination of light and drive is not an advanced concept.
Third, the indoor screen without light drive a concept
It should be pointed out that indoor screens rarely use a light to drive one, because the indoor screen spacing is mostly less than P10, and most of them are mainly surface mount or dot matrix modules. The outdoor display is mainly a direct light insertion method, so the outdoor and indoor screens are very different. For indoor screens, the smaller the production point spacing, the more the heating problem of the display should be considered. Therefore, the indoor screen will undoubtedly adopt the method of separating the lamp drive.
