Lenovo Mirage Solo: the world's first Daydream VR all-in-one

Lenovo and Google Daydream platform in-depth cooperation, launched the world's first stand-alone virtual reality device equipped with WorldSense technology - Lenovo Mirage Solo.

WorldSense technology is Google's new location tracking technology based on the Daydream platform, which can capture user tilt, pick up, dodge and other actions, and detect user's head movement in 3D space.

On the other hand, based on the support of WorldSense dynamic tracking technology, Lenovo Mirage Solo does not need cable or mobile phone, computer and other equipment. Lenovo said that compared with other devices, Lenovo Mirage Solo has lower requirements on the scope of the experience space, which enhances the immersion and comfort of the user experience. Based on this, the user can walk freely in the virtual reality world, and expand the two-hand function through the wireless Daydream controller, and experience the movie picture and the live game in an immersive manner.

Also released with Lenovo Mirage Solo, there is Lenovo Mirage Camera. Nowadays, people are keen to shoot beautiful moments in the life of sharing travel, gatherings and other social platforms. Lenovo and Google launched the Lenovo Mirage Camera, hoping to break the traditional flat-panel camera, so that ordinary users can easily create their own virtual reality content, and can easily share.

When using the Lenovo Mirage Camera, users can choose from three production modes: photo, video and live. Two 13-megapixel fisheye cameras are on the front of the camera. In addition, the two lenses have a 180° x 180° field of view. Users can download the Google VR180 APP from their smartphones, preview the view using the mobile phone screen, capture 4K quality 2D images, stereo images, and record 3D live broadcasts.

It is understood that Lenovo Mirage Camera comes preloaded with Google Photos and YouTube, and has WiFi capabilities. Users can upload the captured content directly to Google Photos, or upload live and video content in a YouTube VR account without the need for a mobile phone.

Lenovo Mirage Camera supports VR180 format. After uploading the captured content, users can choose standard 2D and stereo 3D viewing modes.

Lenovo also includes a product in this CES showcase product, the Lenovo Mirage AR smart helmet set.

Lenovo released the Lenovo Miix 630 2-in-1 notebook. The official claims that this new product is the world's first two-in-one notebook equipped with Opteron CPU, which is light and portable, mobile and connected, providing users with a flexible experience of mobile work anytime, anywhere.
