Instrumentation workers generally have their own instrument maintenance and repair area. According to the distribution of instruments in the area under their jurisdiction, the best patrol inspection route is selected and checked at least once a day. During the inspection tour, the instrumentation personnel should know the operation of the instrument to the on-duty process personnel.

1. Check the instrument indication and record whether it is normal. The on-site instrument (transmitter) indication and the control room display the instrument, adjust the instrument indicating value is consistent, the regulator output indication and the regulating valve position are consistent (usually two instrument workers are required) At the same time, if the process production changes little, it is normal to observe a time difference between the production site and the control room.

2. Check the instrument power supply (if the electric III type instrument uses 24V DC power supply, check if the power supply voltage is within the specified range), and whether the air source (0.14MPa) reaches the rated value.

3. Check the insulation and heat tracing conditions of the instrument.

4. Check the damage and corrosion of the instrument body and connectors.

5. Check the leakage of the instrument and process interface.

6, check the instrument in good condition. The condition of the instrument can be checked by referring to the “Procedures for Maintenance and Repair of Equipment” issued by the Ministry of Chemical Industry. An example is as follows.

According to HG 25359-91 "Vortex Flowmeter Maintenance and Maintenance Regulations", the vortex flowmeter (vortex flowmeter) is in good condition as follows.

1. Complete parts and meet technical requirements, namely:

(2) Parts and components should be complete and standardized;

2, the operation is normal, in line with the use requirements, namely:

(1) When operating, the meter should meet the specified performance indicators;

(2) Under normal working conditions, the value indicated by the instrument should be 20% to 80% of the full scale;

(3) The mechanical counter for accumulation should be flexible and free of clicks.

3. The equipment and environment are neat and clean, in line with the work requirements, namely:

(1) The whole machine should be clean, free from rust, and the paint layer should be smooth, bright and not falling off;

(2) The instrument pipelines and lines are laid neatly and all must be fixedly installed;

(3) There shall be a permanent mark indicating the flow of fluid in the obvious part of the outer casing of the instrument;

(4) The pipeline and line markings should be complete, clear and accurate.

4. The technical information is complete and accurate, and meets the management requirements, namely:

(1) The specification, certificate of conformity, and certificate of entry into the factory shall be complete;

(2) Operation records, fault handling records, calibration records, and parts replacement records shall be clear and correct;

(3) The system schematic diagram and wiring diagram should be complete and accurate;

(4) The meter constant and its change record should be complete and accurate;

(5) The explosion-proof instrument manufacturer must have an explosion-proof certificate issued by an explosion-proof appraisal authority;

(6) There should be a complete accumulator setting (or programming) data record.
