Videos, pictures, documents, downloads, music, and the desktop, these six folder links instead occupy the main position, and their hard drive letter is instead a secondary position display, which looks very awkward. If you don't use them, or feel a little messy and unsightly, you may want to "delete" them!

Open Explorer or "This computer", the left more than 80% of the position are left to the six folders that have no effect, but the position occupied by the drive letter is very poor, in fact, just delete a few registry Items, they no longer appear. Don't worry, these six folders still exist, but do not show links here.

First enter Regedit in the Start menu (yes, yes, again Xiaobian I ^_^) to enter the registry editor.

Targeting

The "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace" item. If you think that the order of clicks to find too much trouble, Xiao Bian also gave you a simple way, copy this section of the path (in quotation marks), paste into the path to the Win10 registry editor's address bar can be reached directly (Figure Blue circled place).

Here is to save the six folders linked to the "this computer" display position, do not rush to delete, right click on the "NameSpace" item, select "Export", the registry key back up for future recovery.

Well, now you can delete, respectively corresponding to the following six series of folder link registry key values, one by one and then right-click, and select Delete in the menu.

After the deletion is complete, restart the computer and open it again to see that the "Computer" on the right only has its own drive letter, and the six folder links are gone. The location of these six folders is actually stored under C:\Users\XXX (user name) and is not really deleted. In addition, if you need to restore, double-click the registry key just backed up and restart the computer.
