As the best subdivision of participating in the construction of “smart city”, intelligent street lamps are naturally promising. Intelligent street lights, Internet + street lights, street lights + optical communications, etc., have opened a new door for the development of LED street lights. Xu Min, deputy general manager of Guangyu Lighting, believes that “LED street lights are not only to seek functionality, but also to pay attention to appearance.” With the rise of smart city construction, the LED road lighting market has considerable prospects.

At the end of 2015, Shanghai Sansi won the bid for the first large-scale application project of smart street lighting system in China—the application of LED street lighting and smart street lighting system in Hongze County, Jiangsu Province. The total amount is nearly 30 million.
