Epistar (Crystal) announced that it has reached a settlement with Adamax (sold under the Newhouse Lighting brand) for a patent infringement lawsuit filed in the US District Court for the Northern California. Adamax was charged with infringement of crystal-emitting diode (LED) filaments in the lawsuit (US Patent Nos. 6,346,771, 7,489,068, 7,560,738, 8,240,88, 8,344,353, 8,791,467, 9,065,022). Under the current conditions of reconciliation, Jingdian will fight for patents and will not pursue Adamax's past liability for LED filament products.
