The non-consolidated revenue of the first three quarters of Dunnan decreased by 5.87% to 5.227 billion yuan, and the net profit after tax decreased by 53.96% to 170 million yuan. The EPS for the first three quarters was 0.38 yuan, far less than the 0.83 yuan for the same period last year. In this regard, Dunnan explained that the profit fell sharply compared with the same period of last year, mainly due to the sharp downturn in Q4 last year, and the extra-year income recognized last year was relatively rich.
According to the distribution of the proportion of revenue in the first three quarters of Dunnan, 50% of the discrete components are the highest, IC products account for 27%, system modules 17%, and 6-inch wafers account for 6%. Among them, the ambient light sensing IC (ALS), which achieves energy-saving performance by adjusting the brightness of smart phones, tablets and laptop LED backlights, has the strongest kinetic energy. Its revenue in the first three quarters increased by 243% compared with the same period of last year.
Looking forward to the market outlook, Dunnan pointed out that in terms of performance of various product lines, Q4 still has the strongest growth momentum of ambient light sensing ICs due to the introduction of Win 8 and ambient light sensing ICs. However, due to the fact that the ambient light sensing IC accounts for a small proportion of the overall revenue (about 5-6 percent of Dunnan's revenue), Q4 revenue should still fall to a certain extent. Other product lines, including discrete components, are expected to decline as the semiconductor industry adjusts inventory. 
Dunnan Q3 net profit increased by 3.15% quarterly. Q4 is expected to fall.
Dunnan announced Q3 non-consolidated financial report, although the revenue decreased by 0.95% to 1.841 billion yuan (NTD, the same below), but the single-quarter gross profit margin increased by 7.97% compared with Q2. The loss of the industry has been smaller than that of Q2. The loss was RMB 17.523 million. The net profit after tax in the single quarter benefited from the extra-operating period of 3.15%, reaching RMB 106 million, which was the highest in the past five seasons. Dunnan pointed out that the Q3 operation has improved, mainly due to the continuous increase in shipments of environmental light sensing ICs with better gross margin and optimized product mix.
