Government promotes semiconductor lighting development

Semiconductor lighting is another revolution in lighting sources after incandescent and fluorescent lamps. It has a wide range of applications, strong industrial driving, and great potential for energy conservation. It is recognized by many countries as one of the most promising high-tech energy-saving industries. Governments at all levels in China have issued a series of policy measures to promote and encourage the development of the semiconductor lighting industry. The investment of government funds has played a huge role in the development of China's semiconductor lighting industry. At present, there are three main forms of government capital investment: 1. Funding for scientific research projects; 2. Subsidies for major equipment purchase funds; 3. Subsidies for product application. Under the new economic background and industrial development situation, how can government funds be invested in order to better solve the problem of system integration of LED lighting technology, cost and large-scale production, establish a long-term operation mechanism for energy conservation and emission reduction, and upgrade enterprises? The ability of independent innovation to achieve the upgrading of the traditional lighting industry, foster new industries, and promote the healthy and rational role of the industrial layout to play a greater role?

At the policy and industrial development summit, the Development Planning Office of the Science and Technology Department of Guangdong Province will interpret the Guangdong government's 2011 investment of 450 million yuan into the field of semiconductor lighting; demonstration and promotion of high-power LED street lights; green lighting city action plan (in the next 2 years, choose All the 10 municipal lighting and public lighting in the prefecture-level prefectures are all LEDized); "Guangdong LED Industry Development Plan (2010-2015)"; "Several Opinions on Accelerating the Development of LED Industry"; Promote the application of LED product benchmark index. National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance interpret China's “12th Five-Year” semiconductor lighting development plan. The leaders of the National Development and Reform Commission also interpreted China's lighting energy conservation policies and energy management. More industry experts and representatives of well-known companies will also gather together to discuss the development of the semiconductor lighting industry.
