Freescale's home base station solution for baseband applications

Freescale family base station solutions for high-bandwidth, low-power baseband applications, especially for LTE (FDD and TDD) and WCDMA (HSPA+) home base station applications. With a Power Architecture® core, programmable StarCore DSP and powerful baseband hardware acceleration technology, the solution delivers world-class performance and optimized system cost and power consumption.

The solution targets LTE and WCDMA (HSPA+) home base stations, providing simultaneous processing performance of 8 to 16 users and meeting system cost requirements, achieving the following performance metrics:

- Single-cell LTE up to 20 MHz bandwidth, supporting 100 Mbps downlink rate and 50 Mbps uplink rate

-5 MHz dual carrier HSPA+, each capable of reaching 42 Mbps downstream and 11.5 Mbps upstream

The solution supports LTE and WCDMA (HSPA+) multimode mode, handling up to 16 online users simultaneously.
