June 12, 2015 - ImaginaTIon Technologies and TSMC announced that the two companies will collaborate on a series of advanced IP subsystems for the Internet of Things (IoT) to help both customers accelerate time-to-market and streamline the design process. These IP platforms complement the highly optimized reference design flow by combining ImaginaTIon's rich IP with TSMC's advanced manufacturing processes from 55nm to 10nm. The IoT IP subsystem under development includes a compact, highly integrated networking solution for simple sensors that incorporates an entry-level M In high-end applications, highly integrated and very complex audio and visual sensors designed for a variety of IoT applications such as intelligent surveillance, retail analytics and autonomous driving will be key components in the future SoCs of both parties.
